Poor experience, not happy. Had an appointment, never heard back, wasted a day, then was offered another appointment for 6 days later. Cannot recommend..

Response from owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that this was a frustrating experience — we understand how valuable your time is, and that’s never something we want to waste. After reviewing our records, we weren’t able to find a confirmed appointment on our schedule. That said, once we received your message, our team did reach out by email to offer the earliest available appointment and also extended a service fee waiver as a courtesy to help support your needs. We always aim to communicate clearly and provide reliable service, and we regret that this interaction didn’t meet your expectations. If you’d like, we’d still welcome the opportunity to assist you and make this right. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can help.

Horrible experience. My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Electrician arrived 3 hours and 15 minutes late. While waiting I called constantly and all I got was voice message and no one called me back. I received a couple of text messages saying that technician was on his way and will arrive soon but no specific arrival time. The worse part is that the job site was a vacant unit and there was nowhere for me to sit while waiting. This company requires a $100 "dispatch" fee, but there was no live dispatcher to communicate with me while I waited. Electrician was pleasant and knowledgeable, but it does not make up for the loss of 3+ hours of my time and the frustration. I will not be using their services again.

Response from owner

Hey Rosilis, I know that our COO Josh has reached out to you to discuss and apologize for your experience with us. We did re-route our technician to an emergency call and let you know we would be delayed, but we greatly missed the mark on giving up updates, especially when the time frame continued to grow. I know Josh has already expressed our sincerely apologies, but we truly are sorry for your experience and have used this as an opportunity to change how we treat situations like this in the future. We genuinely appreciate your feedback, and regret that it was at the cost of your time. If there's anything we can ever do for you in the future, please let us know.

"AVOID KASPER ELECTRIC AT ALL COSTS!" This company is a nightmare—dishonest, unprofessional, and borderline fraudulent. We hired them for an emergency electrical fix at Harbour View, which they resolved in ONE hour. We paid their steep emergency rate, no questions asked. Then their technician lingered for THREE extra hours messing with a non-emergency kitchen light we didn’t even request. We still paid for it out of courtesy, and the technician confirmed payment was complete—twice! Suddenly, they demanded an extra $268 for 'material' that NEVER HAPPENED. Our records prove we paid for all billed time, plus material, but they don’t care. Mona screamed at me over the phone, refused to let me speak to Justin or Cassie Kasper, and hung up. Justin ignored my email begging for a call to sort this out. Worse, they THREATENED to illegally charge an owner’s credit card without permission—a total scam move. Kasper Electric preys on customers with fake charges, ignores evidence, and treats you like garbage when you call them out. We’re reporting them to consumer protection agencies. Save yourself the headache—hire anyone else!"

At time of writing this review, both my wife and I has sent 3 emails to both Michael, and Michelle requesting cancellation of our project. We have yet to receive a response 5 days after sending the email. I have also just called again (says you are open online) but went to voicemail. I have left a voicemail, and hopefully we will receive a callback today. This has been a difficult experience, and very poor communication and customer service from everyone we have spoken to. My wife was dealing with Kasper electrical at first, trying to replace an electrical panel in a condo in North Palm Beach. She received an estimate, and it seemed cheaper than everyone else, they have decent reviews, so she thought she would move forward. She paid a deposit, and thought everything was fine. I pointed out that there was no mention of permitting anywhere on the estimate, or in fact anywhere in the terms. She asked if the permit was included, and the response came back 'you can have a permit if you like'. This seemed strange to me, as permitting isn't optional in the world I live in, you either need one or you don't. It seems to me that you would need one for replacing/upgrading an electrical panel, but they are the professionals. So, I called and spoke to Mona who was very dismissive and irritated by any questions (an experience that my wife also had). She said she would get someone to call back. I received a call back from Michelle, who was very friendly, we went through it, and again the permitting question prompted an evasive answer, the same as my wife received, 'you can have a permit if you want'. I pressed the question explaining that they are the licensed professional, if we don't need one, then why would we get one. She said that according to the Florida Building code, we didn't require a permit. I asked her if she would mind sending an email confirming that, she replied yes, no problem. My wife then later received the following email: ' In regards to the permitting question .As I mentioned to your husband, we can add a permit if you want . If that is something you would like to add, I can make that update to the estimate. It will be at an additional cost and will take a while to get approved. Please let me know how to proceed' Again, putting the decision on whether to permit the project on the homeowner, and not what was agreed on the phone. I have skipped a few requests, as this is a long review, but they are refusing to commit in writing anything regarding permitting, other than making it optional. We have already had an inspection, which failed due to the panel. we are trying to sell the condo, and any unpermitted work would put us in a bad position. It does not seem right that a licensed contractor would refuse to commit to a permit question in writing, so we requested to cancel as we have lost faith, plus the estimate seemed deceptive as permitting was not mentioned at all and my wife doesn't really know about any of this and expected that a licensed professional would advise her. The other estimates ALL mentioned permitting. It is now 5 days after we sent emails requesting cancellation to both Michael and Michelle. to date neither has responded to our emails. I have called this morning, and it goes straight to voicemail (again, said they are open online). My hope is that the owner or someone more senior reads this review and responds. We have put down a deposit of over $1,000, and to receive no response is very unsettling. We have called the building department, who say that a permit is 100% required. The next step will be to call the DBPR, but none of this should be necessary. It should be much simpler than this. In my eyes, a licensed contractor should ALWAYS advise and know whether a permit is required for electrical work, there is too much liability at stake. The fact that they are avoiding putting it in writing multiple times, speaks volumes and indicates that they know a permit is required. I would avoid this company, they have a lot of positive reviews, but based on our experience, it makes me wonder?

Response from owner

Hey Jason, I wanted to apologize for the experience you have had with our company. It is always our goal to provide the best quality service to our customers and apologize that you did not receive it in this case. We are always looking to learn and grow and we know that our failures are our best opportunities to learn. Thank you for your feedback and taking the time make us better. We have and will continue reviewing the pitfalls of this experience and I understand at this point, we have refunded your deposit. Again, we have been faithfully serving the community for 47 years and I apologize that your experience was not our best.

The installer was courteous. But installed the fan in one of the rooms in a funny way. My son was laughing when he saw the fan installed, too low for a small room. His work took a long time to be sure they charge me for all the time he was in the house, he was talking about his family and his house, showing me pictures!!, and the clock was running..... Just be aware of that!!

Response from owner

Hey Lilian, I'm so sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations for service. This sounds like an issue that certainly need to be resolved. Our service manager will be calling you shortly to see what we can do to make this right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, it is always our goal to get better.

Be careful calling service from this company. I called them for replacement of my outdoor porch lights back in 10/02/2023. An inexperienced guy came, spent little in my property and promised coming back next day finishing up the job. Next day he didn't showed up but his company sent me a invoice of $205 for the time he spent in my property. Also company gave me some nonsense excuses for not possible to replace the outside lights in the invoice. I paid them in full in fear of they might put a lien on my property. Very next day I called another licensed electrician and he put those two lights in a breeze. I paid him $250. Lately this company is sending me promotional emails for another opportunity to extort more money from me. Ahhh...... how ridiculous.

I ordered a whole home generator in March 2021. Was told 3 month lead time. Paid $5k deposit up front. When I called in July was told my generator was in stock and ready for install once the permit cleared. As of the time of this writing (Oct 2021) I have no idea what is going on. The permit office states the company has been non-responsive since August 2021 (so 2 months). I don't often write reviews, but this company should not be used. It was my understanding they had a good reputation, but this experience cannot be ignored. A simple call or text could have cleared this up. At this point, it has been 7 months, I have paid over $5000, and have no idea when my generator will be installed. This is not an experience any consumer should have. Find another company.

Response from owner

Ross, this is Justin Kasper. I will reach out shortly and solve this immediately. I'm sorry for this massive inconvenience and frustration. You will get my direct involvement from here out.
